A Legacy of Organic Farming
Elias Doumas in 1962 moved his cows to the area of Koutra outside the Megalo Eleftherochori and thus began the estate
In 1999, after 15 years experience in breeding pure bred cattle, Elias son, Thomas Doumas has a vision to produce and distribute organic farming products of the highest quality.
He started with organic black pig and, which are certified by the Bio Product Certification Organisation “ΔΗΩ”. A year later the company introduces the rare cattle bison to Greece. In 2012 the company expanded by importing Murcia goats (Murciano-Granadina) from Spain.
Since 2001 Thomas with his daughter Vicki Douma
supplied the Greek market with certified organic bison, black pig (sausage and fresh meat).
ABOUT DOUMA VITAL FARM
Douma Vital Farm raises the authentic, native Greek Black Pig, an ancient breed with roots in Greek history. The animals live free range and graze naturally in certified organic, fenced pastures, alongside the only bison herd in the Balkans and Murciano Granadina goats. Founded in nineteen sixty two, the farm combines heritage breeds with rigorous organic certification.
