🍇 Oenops Wines "Rawditis" Orange – A benchmark Greek natural orange wine created by Oenops Wines (Nikos Karatzas) in Drama. Crafted from 100% old-vine, ungrafted Roditis grapes sourced from high-altitude vineyards, this wine is naturally fermented and aged in traditional clay amphorae with skin contact.
✨ Tasting Notes: Vibrant amber-gold in color. The nose is extraordinarily complex, revealing layered aromas of dried apricot, candied orange peel, quince, and wild herbs, wrapped in a subtle mineral and flinty character. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, bone-dry, and wonderfully crisp, offering a sleek tannic grip, refreshing acidity, and a long, savory finish.
🏺 Natural Vinification & Amphora Aging: Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on fine lees in amphorae for 6 months. Bottled unfiltered and unfined with minimal intervention to deliver an authentic, raw expression of old-vine Roditis.
🥗 Food Pairing: An incredible gastronomic companion. It pairs spectacularly with traditional savory Greek pies, roasted pork, grilled octopus, wild mushroom dishes, rich seafood, and mature or smoked cheeses.
🇬🇷 Greek Terroir: Proudly produced in Drama, Macedonia, Greece.
